Phoenix's puppies are now 4 1/2 weeks old. They are busy playing with each other and toys! They are discovering their voices and we hear little puppy growls and the occasional loud puppy bark! They are steady on their feet and some are super fast movers...so we had some trouble with pictures. As usual at this age they are still not sure about treats...I expect in another week they will be crazy for cheese and "cookies". We had a bit of trouble with camera malfunction this week so a few pictures are not as clear as we had hoped. Liz leaves for Georgia and back to school this weekend so future pictures will mostly be free moving, candid shots. I hope to have some help in a couple weeks and we will try for stacked ones again.
We are beginning to get ideas about what we will have available for homes, but as always, we like to wait until Temperament testing is done. We will be taking names and deposits now however and for those who live down south, Liz will be back around labor Day and can bring a puppy down to the Atlanta area...we are very happy to have that new option to avoid shipping if possible!

To be very honest I knew when I saw Phoenix give birth to this black tri boy, that he would quickly steal Liz's heart....Do you think being a split face has anything to do with it??? I am putting my 2 cents in saying that he will be the most likely to stay at Arcoiris!

Carrera is a very cute blue merle girl who is getting lots of merling specks on her face. She also liked her treat. I think she will work well for food!

Benz is a black tri boy. Mercedes and his name came about as when they were first born, I kept having to check which was the boy and which was the girl. They looked so much alike! He is quite the cutie!

Some dogs just own their names...yes, he is a big guy! Hummer is a blue merle boy who is very social! He comes running to visit...he reminds me the most of Phoenix...as she can be almost obnoxious (in a good way) at how much she loves people!
Okay, to be fair they all come running...but he usually pushes to the front...
